Etched Plaques in Metal and Glass

For metal plaque signs we use chemical etching and we work with various metal substrates from aluminum, stainless steel, brass bronze. We can have the finish as satin or polishes and combination of both finishes based on your preference. Copy and text on the sign can be raised or recessed and can be custom filled with colors of your choice. We offer different thickness for these etched metal plaques from 1/16”, 1/8”, 3/16 up to ¼” thick. These signs can be mounted flush to wall using VHB 3M tape, pins studs or even pins with spacers based on your preference.

Glass etched plaques is over specialty and very few companies in the country offer this service. We use engraving and sand blasting technology. The glass we use is tempered glass and is available in clear and frosted finishes. The copy and text can be recessed or raised and filled in variety of custom colors. The finished product is lacquered with special sealant coating to prevent fingerprints and making it durable for interior and exterior use.

Etching combines the artistry of chemical engraving with the precision of computer-generated graphics to create works of extraordinary quality and beauty. The art or the background can be recessed in the metal to create a texture and look that is unmatched with other marking processes. This look can be further enhanced by including color filling, frosting, or applying a hand-rubbed antique finish. We etch on brass, aluminum, copper, nickel silver, and stainless steel, and each adds their own unique properties.

Our standard etching depth is approximately .020″ and half-tone images are etched to approximately .010″ to maintain image precision. All our stainless-steel plaques are backed by a lifetime guarantee.
