As kids, you either got lucky enough that you didn’t need braces or you didn’t. And the way that we tend to depict braces in pop culture leans on the more comical side of things. I always think of the little girl from Finding Dory who obnoxiously taps on the aquarium glass at the dentists’ office. Or, think about all of the teen movies that you’ve seen, chances are the reserved girl just needed contact lenses and to get her braces removed before she had her big moment in the movie. Luckily for teens and adults now, there’s no need for a coming-of-age moment when it comes to getting braces thanks to a company called Candid. Candid is revolutionizing the way that people straighten their teeth by using modern technology and product design.
When we partnered up with Candid when they were opening their store in Austin, TX, we helped them with the manufacturing of the halo-lit letters as well as the shipping and installation. They have been a recurring client of ours as we’ve worked on projects across the nation for them. From Los Angeles to New York City, we have been there to help them grow and expand in whatever market it may be.
About Halo-lit Letters
Halo-lit letters are what Candid decided for this Austin project. These letters are also known as Reverse Channel Lit Letters. They consist of aluminum or stainless steel faces, and steel faces and sides (returns) mounted onto standoffs away from the wall. They project LEDs to the wall surface, giving the sign that halo effect.
Halo-lit letters use low voltage and high-quality LEDs. These letters are available in custom sizes, and the finishes on these letters can be metallic or can be custom painted to match any Pantone color. In Candid’s case, they were matte white.
This project was an exciting one, and the letters look absolutely stunning. If you are interested in getting halo-lit letters for your business, feel free to reach out to us to request a quote.
